My mind went to a post on Pinterest and so I made the investment and purchased them.
They go together perfectly.
And make a useful scissor storage piece.
If you find a milk glass piece without a glass frog that fits in the centre, don't pass it up.

That centre could be a storage bowl for pins or better still, you could make a pincushion to fit the space. Or use a beautiful felted wool pincushion table favour from a SAGA National Convention! (Thank you Cable Car Cablers from San Francisco).
